If you’re on the fence about this, do it! We booked a private boat tour for our group of five, and it was amazing. It was a bit of a trek to get to the starting point, but it is what it is. We brought bread and cheese and fruit to eat, and they provided macarons and drinks. Louise was our captain for the day, and she was spectacular — knowledgeable, personable, and an expert at captaining the boat. We loved how private the experience was, especially as the large tour boats went on by. We stretched out, indulged in our wine and cheese, and loved learning more about Paris from Louise as we went up the Seine. We had perfect weather and and commented afterwards that the trip was a highlight of our time in Paris. It’s not inexpensive, but it’s really so worth it. Ten out of ten!
